Our stunning custom blinds from Budget Blinds that are one of my new favorite parts of our house
I am SO excited to share with y’all about our custom blinds with Budget Blinds!
They’re an incredible company that has an office out of Charlotte – they’re also part of the PremierGarage team who helped us with our garage makeover that we got that I’m still loving so much!
The customer service with this team of people is top notch – especially if you’re super indecisive like some people think I can be sometimes 😉
They actually came to our house to help us map out both our blinds and custom drapes right before Walker was born! I knew that I wanted to get it finished before he was here so I could just enjoy all the snuggles.
The process to work with Budget Blinds was incredibly simple!
They come over to talk through all your options with you and measure for everything. I didn’t have to do anything except be super excited and a little impatient because I was so ready for a solution and loved the options they provided!
One of the (many) things I love about these is how bright it still feels in here when they’re closed!
The blinds we chose are plantation shutter style and they block the blinding light that comes in at the dawn/dusk time period, but still lets enough light in that I don’t feel like it’s super dark in here.
It’s the perfect balance of privacy and light!
The majority of the day, I have these bad boys open. This window faces the back of our house so I don’t feel like anyone is spying on us so I really get to enjoy these being open!
While they technically are plantation shutter style which just makes my southern heart swoon, I love that they’re more of a modern kitchen blind.
I can not stress how much I LOVE the fact that these don’t have a string or cord to open them.
With Harper still being young and curious and with a busy little boy on our hands, I want to do everything I can to keep them safe at home and that means there’s no cord they could either get their hands on or one that could get wrapped in fingers or hair.
I love sitting here in the mornings sipping coffee or scrolling through my feed answering you fine beautiful people 🙂
