Nordstrom Half Year Sale Picks

I hope that you all had the most AMAZING Christmas. I can’t believe that it is already over. Christmas being over is always the saddest thing, isn’t it? There is so much hype around the Holidays so when it’s over it kind of leaves you feeling like “what now?” and then you immediately go back to reality. I wish the Holidays could truly last all year long! 

I heard about the saddest news on Christmas Eve. I won’t go into details because it is not my business to tell but someone that I knew from my past and other people died in a small plane crash on Christmas Eve day. When I heard this news it kind of rocked my world. The amount of sadness that came over me was excruciating. I couldn’t believe that something like this could happen and I felt so, so sorry for all their family and friends. This news made me really think about some things. It made me realize that life truly is SO SHORT and you never know when your last day on this earth will be. Really think about that. We never know when our next breathe will be or what could happen tomorrow or better yet even 5 minutes from now. This really made me want to hold onto my loved ones tighter. This made me want to be a better wife, a better friend, a better daughter, a better person. Life is too short to sweat the small things. We are lucky for every single second that we are given and we cannot take that for granted. I refuse to take life for granted any longer. I know that is easier said than done but this terrible tragedy that happened on Christmas Eve is just proof that life should be lived to the fullest every single day and no grudge should ever be held against anyone. I hope if anything that this story can make you love the people in your life more than you already do and help you realize what really is important in life. 

Okay, onto some better news- Nordstrom is having their annual half year sale!! This sale is HUGE. There are ton of great mark downs on Fall/Winter clothes, shoes, accessories, handbags, etc. I went ahead and rounded up my favorite picks from the women’s clothing and shoe section.
