So as all of you know, I attended New York Fashion week a few weeks ago. I had the best time and it was so much fun looking at everyone’s trendy outfits. One thing I really noticed this year were accessories and man, did New York give me some serious bag envy. One color I noticed a lot of was BLACK. To be honest, I have never really owned a ton of black handbags. I always tended to buy grey or brown (so boring!). So when I got back from New York I started looking for a trendy, everyday black bag to carry and I came across this black Coach satchel on eBay and immediately knew I had to have it.
If you have been following my recent blog posts then a lot of you probably already know that I have been shopping at eBay a lot recently. eBay has some of the best deals on all kinds of different items and some of the best unique items (items you can’t find many other places) so I immediately decided to look here for my new black handbag. One thing I also wanted to mention that I don’t think many of you know (I know that I used to not) is that over 80% if the items on eBay are new. Also, 89% of the items on eBay have the “Buy It Now” option, meaning there is no bidding involved. So it really is a wonderful way to shop. I was able to buy this Coach bag brand new and it was shipped to me within 4 business days. It also was about 30% off what I saw it was at department stores for the same exact bag.
This is actually the first Coach bag that I have ever owned and I absolutely loved it. It is great quality and I am definitely now hooked on the brand. I love this bag because it is similar to some of the styles I was seeing at New York Fashion Week (leather, hobo style) but it is also great for incorporating into everyday life. This is a bag that I will be carrying for a long time. I found a bag that is trendy but also practical. It doesn’t get much better than that.
