Mala Necklace: Rosy Love // Gold Necklace: Breathe Pure Necklace // Bracelet: Breathe Deep Bracelet
Many of you reading this already know how much mental health and fitness mean to me because of how often I share about these things on my Instagram. For 3 years, I spent a majority of my workouts doing BBG on the Sweat app. Lately, I have been trying to switch it up and explore new things! I recently bought a yoga mat and have had a bit of an interest in trying out that form of exercise because it appears to be so calming and relaxing. My career can be very stressful and I figured that this would be another great way to help rid myself of that and any negativity. Additionally, I discovered a brand called Mala Prayer. It was created in 2015 with the aim of making hand made, high-quality Mala bead necklaces, bracelets, and wellness items; while following their mission of empowering women around the world. With their values being purpose, health, and philanthropy, they seek to encourage meditation without the need or use of apps. I noticed how several women shown throughout their Instagram page are wearing their beautiful pieces while going through their yoga exercises. I found the jewelry to be super unique and beautifully designed; so I figured I’d get a few pieces and share with you all what my thoughts are!
The first piece that I picked out from Mala Prayer is their Rosy Love Mala Necklace! I’m a sucker for anything pink and I love the other colors that are found in this. Designed for true love, this necklace combines thoughtfully chosen materials that are said to have calming properties and can attract loving energies. It features 3 types of stones: Lava Bead, Rose quartz, and Agate. Lava Bead , known for its grounding properties, is great for calming the motions and brings intense energy. Rose quartz, is the stone of unconditional love and infinite peace. And lastly, Agate cleanses and stabilizes the aura, eliminating and transforming negativity. It has a powerful effect at the physical and emotional levels as it raises consciousness and links into awareness of one’s life. I’ve definitely never had anything like this before it but it’s definitely a unique item and I’ll definitely be using it over time, as needed.
The next piece that I got is the Breathe Pure Necklace. This hand-wired piece is a reminder to just breathe. When I’m stressed, worried, concerned, in a panic, or experience thoughts and feelings of negativity, this is something that I can wear and look at ad a reminder of what I should do instead. We cannot always control what happens to us in life but we do have the power to control how we respond. This necklace comes in a few options: stainless steel, 18k gold, and rose gold. I think the cursive design is so pretty!
The last thing that I picked is the Breathe Deep Bracelet. Similar to the Breathe Pure Necklace, I decided to get this bracelet to help remind me to discover positive thinking while accepting that some things just can’t be changed. I think this dainty piece is adorable and its light weight makes it great for all day wear, any day! It also comes in a few options: stainless steel, 18k gold, and rose gold. And the pulley clasp makes it easy for anyone to adjust it to their wrist size, which I love!
