Straw beach bags are a must for summer! When added to your wardrobe, they become such a cute staple piece for all of your summer fun! And there are so many out there to shop around and choose from. But today I am sharing this one from Walmart and am ready to show y’all 3 great ways that you can style it.
For outfit 1, I decided to stick with a neutral look! Black, white, and tan are three basic colors that go with anything, which is why they’re so easy to style several ways. My black top has these tiered ruffle sleeves that make for such an adorable look. And the fabric of this shirt is perfection because it is lightweight, breathable and has amazing stretch to it, which makes it so comfortable! I decided to pair it with these white shorts (which come in several other colors) and then added in my circle straw tote for a beautiful pop of color.
My next outfit is swimwear, which felt so right to share with you guys given how hot it has been here lately. Pool weather has definitely arrived in Charlotte and I am so glad. I found this super cute bikini top and bottom set from Walmart that has one of my favorite prints- cheetah! Not only does it have a print that I love, but it also has pink accents. How cute?! High-waisted bottoms are very much IN right now, and if you have yet to own a pair, then I highly recommend. They make for such a flattering fit. And the ones that I’m wearing here also have really great coverage. I thought that the pink in the tote really pulls out the the subtle pink from the swimsuit and overall makes for such a great pool, beach, or vacay look.
This last look is one of my favorites because of how simple it is. You can never go wrong with a casual t-shirt dress! It even comes in 6 other colors and is marked at such a great price. So you can really get multiple of these for such an amazing deal. I thought it looked cute paired with these sandals by Sam Edelman, one of my absolute favorite shoe brands. And to top it off, I add in my distressed denim jacket, which I’ve shared with you all before! Jackets like this are great for tying around the waist or wearing as normal if it gets a little chilly! Again, playing off of colors here, the white from my straw tote really mesh well with my all white outfit and highlights the other colors in the bag even more!
So there you have it! 3 of my personal favorite ways to style a beach bag or tote. I really think that the pops of color from my new bag are what make it so fun and adds great style, while also bringing out the colors in whatever outfit I’m wearing. And you just can’t go wrong with this one. I hope you all love these styled looks as much as I do!
