Christmas time has got to be one of my favorite times of year. Everything seems cozier and people seem happier! Plus, between the months of November to December, you get to see your family and friends so much more than usual with all of the Holiday gatherings. One of the best parts of Christmas for me, is decorating my house. Home decor is something that I have grown to love more and more over time, I feel like it describes so much about the family that lives in the house! If you keep scrolling, I’m going to show you some of my favorite nooks and crannies of the house all decked out in Christmas decor. Plus, I have linked everything I use year to year – some things are out of stock or discontinued so I linked similar items!

Besides the playroom, we spend the most time together in the living room! Everything seems to revolve around this room and it is the focal point of our house! The best feeling is waking up in the morning to grab my morning coffee and turning on all of the lights. The room immediately gets cozy and feels so warm and inviting. Cam’s office is right off the living room and the glass doors look right into it. I spend a lot of my day working with my assistant at the kitchen counter, which leads into the living room. Then Harper, Cam and I spend our evening making dinner together in the kitchen with Christmas music playing over the Alexa. Plus, when we host our White Elephant Christmas party closer to Christmas, everyone will be gathered around our kitchen and the living room! It truly is the heart of the home.

Cam and I are so excited to start Christmas traditions with Harper! So crazy to think this time last year, she was just a few months old and now she is running and talking! Her favorite words are: mommy, daddy, coco, hi, bye, and wow!! We want to take her to see Santa every year! We took her this year, and let’s just say she didn’t love him haha! Hopefully next year we will get a picture without tears:) I mentioned our White Elephant Christmas party and that is another tradition we want to keep going! We had a party last year and it was so much fun that Cam and I are going to make it a yearly tradition! With Harper, we want to make a gingerbread house with her every year! If you have any good decorating tips or ideas, please let me know! Lastly, Cam and I are going to sponsor a family in need each Christmas. This is one of the things I am most looking forward to this holiday season. Giving back is worth more than anything money can buy.

There are so many different ways to decorate the Christmas tree! Instead of choosing just one way, we decided to have a tree with all of our pretty and decorative ornaments and another tree that we call our “Family Tree”. On our Family Tree are all of our favorite personal ornaments! We’ve got one for Cam and I’s first Christmas together, Harper’s first Christmas, and one of our house!! Plus a cute little macaroon ornament or two thrown in there! Our Family Tree is actually half a tree so that it can fit perfectly in the hallway without blocking the walkway! This was my first year having a half-tree and I LOVE it!! It is so cute but takes up less space than a full tree!

A look into what I use to decorate my shelves for Christmas! Our house has so many shelves, so I have to be a little creative with my decor!! While decorating them, it usually takes quite a bit of moving items and re-arranging the entire shelf to make it look the exact way I want it.

We are hosting Christmas at our house this year!! My mother-in-law and father-in-law and they’re dog, Snow, are coming to spend Christmas with us! The dining room is where we will eat Christmas dinner!! I love every little detail of it all the way down to the Nut Crackers!

The Breakfast Room!! Maybe I was wrong before, this might be my favorite room. The mistletoe hanging on the ceiling is the sweetest little touch that makes for the perfect area to steal a quick smooch.
The Garland down the stairs is custom from Bolick & Prince!
I personally wish that Garland was socially acceptable in our houses all year. They are absolutely beautiful pieces of decor.

If you have an entry way or hallway that you’re not quite sure what to do with, here is what we did with ours! The only items we changed our from the all-year round items, were the trey items (Christmas Trees), added the reindeers and the stockings!

Don’t forget about the bathroom when you are decorating! Bath and Body Works has great options for soaps and candles to put in your bathroom! I grabbed the hand towels and holiday towels from Target!! Mudpie has some great holiday napkins if you need an online option!
