I hope you all had an amazing Easter weekend! On Easter Sunday my husband and I woke up early and went to the early morning service at our church, Forest Hill Church, in South Park of Charlotte. Pastor David Chadwick gave an incredible sermon and everything came straight from passages in the bible which I absolutely love. We also got to witness someone get baptized which always makes my heart feel so full!
One take away from Easter (I talked a little bit about this on my Instagram stories) is how amazing God is at forgiving. He forgives us so much that he DIED on the cross for all of our sins. Really let that sink in. It’s incredibly amazing if you really think about it. The more I think about that the more I realize how small my problems are. It makes me realize how stupid it is for me to hold any kind of grudge against anyone or not truly forgive someone for anything that they have done for me. If God can forgive everyone for ALL of their sins how could we not forgive anyone who sins against us? Well, if we truly love God then we can’t deny this type of forgiveness to anyone because it would be completely against His will. I usually don’t struggle with forgiveness that much. I would like to say that I am a pretty forgiving and loving person (sometimes to a fault) but this Easter sermon did make me realize that there are certain people I need to truly forgive, even if it is just in my heart. Jesus may have died on the cross for our sins but there is good news, HE HAS RISEN. This is the best news any of us could ever have and I will eternally be grateful. Thank you Jesus for carrying our cross so that we may live a full life with the people that we love.
You know I always have to mix in a little bit of fashion in my posts. I hope you guys love this black little tassel dress from These Three Boutique as much as I do. Black is just so classy and is a color that you can literally wear to anything. An LBD is always a staple piece to have and this one is the perfect Spring/Summer one to add to your wardrobe. The tassels make it so much fun and I love the detailing on the fabric. I love pairing it with a pop of color like adding these fun turquoise tassel earrings. If you can’t already tell, turquoise is hands down my favorite jewelry color to wear with most outfits. I just love it and feel like you can never go wrong! This dress does run true to size I am wearing my normal size small.
