If you’ve been keeping up with me over on Instagram, then you know that in May, I went to Bermuda with some amazing girls who I’ve met through the blogging industry! We had such an amazing time together staying at Hamilton Princess and I’ve received quite a few DMs from you guys and how you want to know about my experience. So that’s what this post will be about! I am so glad that I got to experience this beautiful place for the first time ever with Bailey Schwartz, Jessica Teague, and Madison Messer!
I am so excited to share more with you all about my thoughts on our stay, any recommendations I have, and just the overall experience! Hands down, I will say that if you are planning on visiting Bermuda in the future or are wanting to plan a trip then I highly recommend Hamilton Princess. It is known to be Bermuda’s only luxury urban resort. It is truly another one of the most fun and exciting places that I have ever visited. I think it’s pretty telling from my photos above that the girls and I had a great time. And it was truly so nice to get away for awhile and go on a trip that was just for fun and not to stress about work!
Our Stay:
Okay, so I have to start off by saying that all of us absolutely LOVED how the hotel was pink! I mean, how pretty?! This is just one of the many reasons why this hotel is so great and beautiful for photo ops! Because of the fact that the hotel is pink, I’m sure that’s why it is also known as the “Pink Palace.” They have over 157 newly renovated guest rooms, suites, and access to the luxurious Fairmont Gold Wing. I felt so comfortable in my room. It was beautifully designed, spacious, clean, and had impeccable views. The bathroom was so gorgeous and had so much marble detail (all the heart eyes for that)! And the waterfall shower was absolutely amazing; and I seriously wish I had that at home! Dining & Drinks:
One thing that I love about traveling is trying new restaurants and exploring new foods! There are two restaurants that I just have to share with you guys that I really enjoyed! The first would be 1609 Restaurant, which was right by the pool! We primarily went there for drinks but ended up realizing how amazing their food was, as well. I find it to be such a convenient spot and easy to go to after spending some time relaxing poolside! The other restaurant, which happened to be my favorite, was Marcus’. It was so amazing, they were so accommodating to us, and the customer service was amazing. The food was exquisite and made for such a one-of-a-kind dining experience! You HAVE to try this place if you ever go to Bermuda!
To Do:
Sand, water, sunshine, and good company are sometimes all you really need! Of course, the girls and I spent so much time relaxing by the water, whether it was by the beach or by the pool. The pool was so, so nice! There are chairs in the water, hot tubs, and a beautiful view out into the marina. This was definitely one of our favorite places to be! While the pool was amazing, we also couldn’t get enough of the private beach! The resort has a shuttle that takes you to the beach, which is so nice. This was seriously one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in my life. Not even kidding. It has its own private restaurant/bar and beautiful hammocks in the water. One of the days that I was there, Jessica and I went paddle boarding (all equipment is provided at the beach) and we went on a little adventure to look at the beautiful rocks/coves that line the beach. It was so much fun! I miss it so much!
This trip was, for sure, one of my favorites and I’ll never forget it! I am so appreciative of Hamilton Princess and how wonderful everything was. The customer service was most definitely the best I have ever had in my entire life. Everyone was SO nice. I’d say it was better than any resort I’ve ever been to. This would be a great place to go for a honeymoon, family vacay, bachelorette weekend, or a girl’s trip. Prior to coming here, I knew that this was my mother-in-law’s favorite place in the entire world. We are pretty much the same person, so I had a feeling it might become mine, too! Now I’ll have to add this to my list of places to travel to with Cam. I can’t wait to go with him someday!
