Harper turned two on July 5th and I feel like it was just yesterday I was writing the blog post about her first birthday party.. where does the time go? When she was first born, everyone just kept saying how fast time flew and looking back now, I know they couldn’t be more right. At two, some of her favorite things are: Anna and Elsa from Frozen, Peppa Pig, Flamingos of course (hence the birthday party theme), ice cream (this is new! We had to give her ice cream to take antibiotics when she was sick and since then, she thinks she is going to get ice cream every night), Coco Melon, dancing to Breland’s new song “Praise the Lord”, and saying “mommy” and “daddy” one thousand times a day. This little girl lovesss to dance and sing and chatter all day long, so this birthday party was her dream day.
One of the biggest hits of the whole party was this bounce house from Classic Bounce of Charlotte!! All of the kids were so hot and sweaty because they jumped and played on this bounce house the whole time! They had so much fun on it and I KNOW we will have one of these at future birthday parties for many years to come. The crew at Classic Bounce of Charlotte, was so nice and extremely easy to work with! It’s worth every penny for keeping the entertained! Plus it looks so pretty in every space.

Say it With Balloons did all of our balloons and the backdrop for our party favors!! I have worked with them so many times now and they are amazing. Truly they are so talented and easy to work with. Any time I need balloons for an event, like Harper’s baby dedication, a friends baby shower, or just something small at our house, I always use them! Their customer service is amazing and they get back to you with anything right away. Their prices are really good and they are so incredibly talented. If you are looking for a ballon decorator in Charlotte, NC, PLEASE use them! They are the best in the industry, I can personally vouch for that. Balloons are the perfect final touch to your kiddos birthday party decorations.

Little Hearts Mobile Play provided the ball pit and playing area!! The kids also loved this and it was such a HIT! When they got too bounced out on the bounce house, they headed straight for the ball pit and slide. Little Hearts Mobile Play also provided a play area for the kids that was fenced in and also provided some bouncy toys for them to bounce on. There also was a slide for the kids to slide into the ball pit!! When you hire Little Hearts Mobile Play, there are so many things you can add on to your party package so make sure you check out their website. I highly recommend using them for any kids birthday party! They are the sweetest people and so easy to work with (which can be so hard to find).

Proparazzi Kids Party Rentals is who we used for the super cute little pink bow back chairs for the painting area we had for the kids! The chairs were SO cute and really helped tie our pink Flamingo theme all together. When I tell you I got so many compliments on them.. I got SO many compliments on them. Everyone at our party kept asking me where we rented them from. Proparazzi Kids Party Rentals has so many options to rent from and are great to use for birthday parties. It was so seamless to work with them and I couldn’t recommend them more!

Draw It By Mel made the amazing Flamingo themed drawings for the kids to paint they were BEAUTIFUL! This was one of the greatest hits at Harper’s birthday party. The kids had SO much fun painting and the parents all thought it was such a great idea. They were like little Picasso’s working on their little art projects. It was so dang cute. Plus it gave them something fun to go home with! We used Crayola non-toxic and washable paint which was perfect for the younger kids. Mel makes all kinds of things for kids birthday parties including things to paint like we got but she also does coloring sheets and lots of other things! Definitely make sure to check her out! I love how everything is personalized and perfect for any birthday party.

Sweet Stella Treats made these gorgeous Flamingo themed cake pops and there were DELICIOUS! The kids loved them but I also god soooo many compliments from the adults about how delicious the cake pops were. I love them because they are so easy to grab and go and we had them in so many different flavors. These are a perfect idea for a dessert for a birthday party or any other event. Everything is customized and they can do any theme you want. They are so talented and so great to work with! I would say my favorite flavor was chocolate (I literally ate one today three days after the party and it was still SO good.)

Hello Cakes by Vanessa made this stunning Flamingo cake for us. Not only was it so aesthetically pleasing and a piece of art, it tasting INSANELY good. Viva Macarons made the the macarons that were on the cake and they were *chef’s kiss* so good. She can customize any cake you want by adding any detail. I thought using the macaroons for the Flamingos’ bodies on the cake was just the cutest idea ever!

The Pillar CLT is a desert catering and party supply company in the Charlotte, NC area! They made our little Flamingo party favor bags that we stuffed with super cute party favors for the kids! I couldn’t believe how cute they ended up being! Literally so dang precious and well made! I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Ali from Ali’s Lifestyle Design Events. Ali helped me plan the entire party from start to finish. She helped me find vendors, helped coordinate everything from decorations, party favors, food, location, and even florals. Ali does an amazing job with everything from party planning to florals so she is available to help out with both! She is absolutely amazing to work with. I couldn’t recommend her more and would give her a 10/10 rating. Seriously, I couldn’t believe what an amazing job she did and how well everything turned out. Everything was super organized and the process was f-l-a-w-l-e-s-s. It all turned out so beautiful and just how I envisioned it. I will definitely be using Ali again. When I look back on Harper’s second birthday party, I hope I never forget all of the little moments that made it such a sweet day, all of the family and friends who came to celebrate, and all of the people that we worked with to make this party happen so seamlessly. It truly was the best day with the best little girl that we all love to pieces. I am so thankful that I have all of these photos to look back on and remember everything about this day. I want to say a huge thank you to my best girl Deeana for taking these photos. She is an amazing photographer who I use all of the time for all of our family photos, our newborn pictures, and all of my collabs. She truly is a gem and I would recommend her to everyone (but don’t steal her too much because I still need her!)
